Would like a property to be added to fittings that get populated with the length of the fitting when the part is inserted in the drawing. This will be useful in checking the overall length of a given raceway ID. The Raceway Schedule BOM report is able to account for the length of fittings, but it does not show what each length is.
I clarified that the user is looking for a property to be added to the fitting in the dgn that gets the length of the fitting based on the raceway size and radius of the fitting when it's inserted. It would be more difficult to predefine that length in a UDA on the catalog entry when it would need to be adjusted for each size.
Could you clarify if you are looking for the Raceway Schedule report to have a column that can report the length of the fitting and individual straight pieces or are you looking for a property on the fitting itself that gets the length at the time of placement?
If it's the latter, could you add such a UDA to the fitting parts and specify this length when you create the catalog entry for this fitting so that it gets populated upon placement?
