Ability to upload list of raceway that circuits shall include in routing in Excel format.

Heat calculation must be performed on duct bank for certain circuits and it is important to be able to designate certain conduits for a particular circuit. It would be very helpful to be able to upload a dedications list into BRCM that instructs the program to include certain raceway in the routing. The current process is manual and difficult to define in BRCM.

How frequently will feature be used? A few times a week
How much time will you save? This is same many hours while routing.

@Guest I will mark it for future consideration per your feedback.

Our duct banks get very large on projects and my include 50 conduits. This method would not be practical to use on our very large projects. We really would appreciate a way to upload an includes list for cables.

@Guest @Guest I believe you should be able to do this today by taking advantage of the routing filters. You could for example use the redundancy property and associate different values on different conduits when you route your duct bank. Then in your Excel Cable List you can add a column for the Routing Filter and enter the value from the redundancy property to indicate you want this cable to use raceways that have this matching value. Then when you auto route your cables, the system will search for the conduits that have the matching values. See attached video that Alexander Rost created.

This is a much needed enhancement that would significantly streamline the routing process in BRCM. The ability to upload a predefined list of raceways via Excel would eliminate manual effort, reduce errors and ensure accurate heat calculations for duct banks. Strongly support this idea for improved efficiency and design accuracy.
