The current Raceway Dedication workflow in BRCM Auto Routing is limited because the Includes Raceway feature only permits selecting the first raceway segment at each end of the equipment. This prevents users from specifying or controlling the entire intended raceway path.
As a result, users cannot dedicate all required raceways along the full cable route, leading to routing behavior that may not align with expected engineering practices.
Expand the Includes Raceway functionality to allow selection of every raceway segment throughout the complete cable route, not just the initial segments. Functionality can probably be enhanced to selecting the first segment and then we get an option to select either a single segment or select the entire raceway route.
This enhancement should enable users to explicitly include all relevant raceway IDs along the entire path, so the Auto Routing engine fully honors the intended dedicated raceway sequence.
