Support/Bracket placement related to used raceway and cable weight

Saw this request from multiple users, last was Schneider UK.

  • It will be good to have a possible automatic placement of hanger and support to a single or multiple raceway systems related to the calculation of cable weight and also the weight of the raceways.

  • To enable something like this, maybe it will be best to add a property to the raceway catalog to define the raceway weight.

  • If using the OPSE tool it will be necessary to select a hanger type and support type automatic related to the weight and the distance setting for hangers.

  • I see also an alternative workflow, adding in a 1st step the hanger and supports and now it will be useful to create the raceway system related to it, e.g. with the possible size from support/bracket and also with possible raceway catalog/variant which can be used with the support/bracket

  • An additional too to check the used configuration e.g. max weight of hanger and bracket, distance of hanger related to total weight of raceway/cable will be useful
