It happens that one straight RW section contains multiple smaller RW sections. for example instead of having 1 10 ft section, you may end up with one 4' and one 6' section next to each other. This creates problems with supports locations.
Ideally, we would like to have additional option that will optimize RW lengths into longest possible straight sections.
Workflow of using this tool:
User activates RW length optimization tool which opens tool set dialog.
In this dialog user selects preferred straight length section ( this is taken from catalog preference file).
User is instructed to select raceway sections (using either CTRL and individual selection or MS selection tool) that need to be optimized.
User is then prompted to select RW section from which optimization should start.
If original RW layout looks like one shown in the attached image: "originalRaceway.png"
After RW length optimization result should look like the attached image: "UpdatedRaceway.png"
