It would be great to have some examples for the custom properties addition to elements using the modification of ECSchema through Bentley Class Editor tool.

The ECSchema is already shipped with the product. If there would be some manual related to basic customization like property addition, custom attribute addition then it would be great help to MicroStation configuration developments.

With this, we can achieve many features into MicroStation.

I know that this will add a huge complexity to application but it would be a great addition for those user who is well versed with schema customizations.

OpenPlant Modeler (Bentley application) is a schema driven application and using customization we can achieve lot of things.

In MS-CE we have item types to act as a custom property but it is very limited. Also, we need to attach the item type to each elements and all. But if we can customize this via ECSchema editor then it would be a great thing.

I would request to please share some basic documentation related to property addition and custom attribute implementations for MS elements.
