Add the ability to use the roll based access control to limit which attribute on a given tag, possibly by class, that can be edited. i.e. allowing designers to update tags from PID or Modeller, but not to change certain fields that are owned by Engineering given the lack of workflow on EDM changes.

currently this is managed loosely with setting properties are read only in the design interface, which doesn't prevent changes in EDM form designers, or in the desktop tools report views. ability to RBAC properties would provide a real use case for EDM as a pseudo-EDW 'Lite' where without the access control or workflows it is essentially an uncontrolled dumping ground.
