We would like to have a tool which converts the symbols of bolts to real graphics as an option. Either a switching option to select symbol or real graphics while placing bolts or a macro that will convert all the bolt symbols to real graphics fetching the data like number of bolts/studs, bolt length, washer, nuts for flange connections etc.
The bolt is placed perpendicular to the joint which is not helpful for checking. Placing the bolt parallel and in the correct location with some more graphics for head and nut would help with checking and designer to see that bolt is the correct length. This feature will be used every time a joint is placed.
