OBD has Activate/Deactivate feature for reference files. This allows users to edit the reference files in the same session without switching to the reference model. Our mechanical team is currently using OBD for equipment modeling and they use this feature extensively in OBD. Since they have to switch between 3D models frequently so this feature saves lot of time.

Hi Waqas,
Yes, we have tried this option, but it takes time to load the file we want to open. But with "Activate" option available we can edit the reference file within active session which saves time.

Have you tried exchange option for attached referenced files ? Secondly, if you are connected to Plantsight then each dgn will take some additional seconds to connect to Plantsight.
