There are times where a single value for the variable OPM_MISALIGNMENT_ALLOWANCE is not best for project use. For cases like flanged joints, this should be near zero, for cases such as socket welds this can be as much as 1 degree. For butt welds, this can be increased to 3 degrees. By having this variable be adjustable per joint type, we can accurately create piping designs that are fabricate able. Without this ability, we have to set the variable larger than some joints are possible to be fabricated too, which is not ideal and a user could make that mistake.

| How much time will you save? | user's will not spend extra minutes/hours trying to do workarounds to make connections that have variable alignment tolerances. |
