currently if a ferrule to ferrule connection is established the clamp connector is a "dumb" cylinder only (generic cell).
I have two problems with that:
Connectors are not reported on
(we have to add the amount manually for every MTO / BOM)
Graphically you cannot tell its a clamp connector.
Especially if somebody looks at the model who is not used to the "OPM look" of a clamp connector.
I think it should be programmed similar to something like the victaulic couplings for example.
The graphics could also be done by simple blocks and cylinders, maybe a polygon, so nothing too special, but easily identifiable as a simplified clamp connector. Also in tight situations you could see and rotate the position of the screw.
