Weight conversion from imperial units to metric units for pipe spools

Story Narrative-

A specification is created in imperial units, and when one wants to use it in metric workset the numeric value of the weights is not being converted for the pipe spools.

However, the numeric value of the weights is being converted for other components.

  1. Route a pipe and placed an elbow in OOTB using the default spec from imperial and copying it in the metric workset

2. Route a pipe and a long radius elbow and following are the observations

For Elbow the numeric value of weight is being converted.

For pipe spools the value is not being converted resulting in incorrect value of the dry weight

Proposed Workflow/Solution-

A solution where the numeric values of pipe spools are automatically converted.

How frequently will feature be used? Several times a day
How much time will you save? I would save a lot of time.

Sameer, These two lines are conflicting, may be a typo, but can you have a look.

For now how user is handling this situation. Is the Weight column in spec is converted to Metric or some customization in schema (what schema change is done to handle this).
