We already have solenoid valves in OPPID. They can be inserted at different scales. If you need a different symbol, we can make a new child class with the new cell OR we can probably use the same feature as the Open/Closed valve option we have and replace the cell with a second option. If these valves come with the panel (I.E. supplied by the panel vendor), then we would have to make them user cells that do not report to the iTwin. We may be able to handle this similar to the Water "Concrete Equipment" we now support in OPPID. These are dynamically placed, but have no intelligence.
We don't consider this a workaround, but rather a real solution that others have already successfully utilized.
If this doesn't meet some requirements we need the detailed requirements clearly explained otherwise, we cannot understand what the gaps are.
