I am writing to address an operational challenge we have encountered while working on BRCM CE Auto Routing Design file, Specifically concerning the use of Collaboration Manager for resource design CDM files locking.

Currently the Collaboration Manager lists all design files present in the Design directory so making it challenging to efficiently locate and lock specific design files for the auto-routing process. To streamline this workflow and enhance usability we propose an enhancement to the Collaboration Manager dialog box that would allow users to exercise greater control over the locking process.

The suggested enhancement entails providing users with the ability to select specific folders and subfolders along with individual design CDM files when locking resources. This modification would significantly improve the precision and efficiency of resource locking and also it will ensuring that only the necessary files are selected and locked for the auto-routing procedure.
