Our suppliers and customers utilize STP files to exchange equipment models to/from other authoring tools. However, the data structure of different elements is lost in Openplant.

Further, when piping models are exported as STP files they do not contain any data structures.

The industry is moving towards increased exchange of model data to allow collaborating with suppliers and customers and currently we are limited in the ability of OpenPlant to exchange data in different formats.
