Please can you enhance the flanged piping options to show the flange type more representative. Ccurrently, when you configure for flanged piping, you get a standard flange that is a simple cylinder.
Please show the ends more representative of
Weld Neck
Slip-on
Threaded
Socket Welded
Stub flanges etc.
| How frequently will feature be used? | Several times a day |
| How much time will you save? | Not so much time saving but more representative in the model |

Hi Waqas
Thank you for the feedback and apologies for the unclear request.
We create flanged pipe spools for mining projects, the pipe and fitting ends are flanged on placement with specific predetermined dimensions.
As such, when we run pipelines we get the piping to show flanged end without reporting the flanges as separate items but the graphics shown are confusing as it only shows as a cylinder as seen in the image attached. It would be great if these can show the correct current flange graphics like Weld Neck or Stub Flange ends.
@Guest Thank you for posting the idea.
In OpenPlant Modeler the delivered flanges already show the basic shape of weld-neck, slip-on, socket-weld etc. but they don’t include fine details such as bolt-hole patterns or raised faces. Although the general body shape (weld-neck, slip-on, etc.) is close to the actual flange type.
Just to make sure we understand correctly, can you please elaborate what details you want us to add to make it more representative of actual flange?
Your clarification will help us log the right enhancement request.
