Spec Change Tool Improvements

When we perform a spec change, the tool changes component types, and moves flange interface points. This wastes significant time as users need to reupdate flange locations and validate if the piping layout matches the original intended design. Additionally, users input custom properties to components, and there should be a way to copy these properties automatically.

Spec Change Tool – Copy Properties: Need the ability of copying property values to components after spec change, such as, Isometric Notes.

Coordinate Interface Locking: Locking interfaces and dimensions within the software to prevent unintended changes when updating specifications, emphasizing the need for a more streamlined and reliable process for simple changes such as gasket/bolt type updates. Port coordinates shall remain unchanged.

Component Type Locking: Locking component types, so they do not get changed during spec change. If a Socket Weld Flange was used, then OPM should use the same flange type.

Automated Auditing: The spec change tool must audit, flange and port interfaces to validate that components have not moved. Additionally, the spec change tool must validate that component types have not changed.
