When working with spec components where the allowed mating flanges may be of different rating, and where the flange thicknesses are different, the bolt length calculation must take this into consideration. Today, the bolt length is based on "Flange Thickness x 2". It will bae the bolt length off of the first flange it finds. This makes the bolt length calculation incorrect.
Bolt length should always be based on the actual component thicknesses and not based on an assumption that all mirrored or opposite side components in the joint are the exact same thickness.
