In PlantSight integrated mode, there is no mechanism to update the existing tag name in bulk. Only editing can be done for those property which are not part of name property.
In practical cases, Name property requires its modification based and it is one of the most frequent requirement of industry.
Plant3D application does this task very easily, it would be great to implement such workflows that would allow use to change the Name property value in bulk for functional as well for physical tag.
Having such feature will definitely make OpenPlant unique to competitor products.
Plant3D always consider GUID/Federation GUID as Primary Key property, due to this Plant3D allows almost all the properties to be edit in bulk whether it is name or anyone other properties except GUID.

For small brownfield projects we don't draft P&IDs and just use OPM with plantsight. We prefer plantsight for pipeline tag creation in 3D model. However, with current functionality it is not possible to update the tag in plantsight and sync the pipeline tag from plantsight. There should be a way to update the tags in 3d model with updated properties from Plantsight.
